Monday Madness/ Contest

YAY!!!!! It’s been a while since I have done a Monday Madness, so I have so many options to try and pick through.

I might have to do more than one.

So the first one is Goddess by Josephine Angelini

Let me start off by saying this book is awesome!  I’ve read it more than once.  It is the third book in the Starcrossed series so I suggest reading the other two first if you haven’t.

Anyway, in this book, it is the final showdown between the gods and scions (what most people consider demigods).  Helen, the most powerful of all the scions, has the hardest choice to make… the love of her life or her family and friends that she could never give up for the world.  Hades taught her many things during her time in the Underworld as the Descender.  She only hopes it can be enough to beat Zeus.  How could her life have changed so much in a year?  After this all began when she discovered she wasn’t a mortal.

Now it’s time for the second review.  This one will be about Poison Princess Kresley Cole!!

This book wins one of my absolute favorites by a long shot!  Kresley Cole is able to make any reader wish that the book were longer and would never end.

As you can guess by the book cover I put above, this one is in a series.  But lucky for you it’s the first one this time!  Every story has to begin somewhere.  This one begins with a card a specific card from a specific deck… a tarot deck.  Not what you usually think of when you think of a deck of cards. Each card has a picture on it with a caption stating what the picture is.  On these cards, one could find the cards Death, The Fool, The Empress, The Alchemist, and other cards.

Of course something bad has to happen to the main character to kick off the plot, but who says the bad thing can’t happen to EVERYONE!!  It seems like the end of the world to everyone.  No one knows for sure how long they will be able to live, or if it is their last day.  Evangeline, Evie, just hopes she can keep her and her mom alive for one more day sac morning she wakes up.  To find out more about Evie and her sometimes friend/sometimes enemy, that so happens to be a boy, Jackson, go get the book.!

I can personally say that if you are into this kind of stuff, you will not regret reading this book.  Cole kept it alive with humor, sarcasm, something I probably need to get less of :), and romances, that you will not want to put this book down.

Well, that’s it for this week.  Be sure to watch out tomorrow for the Tuesday Teaser to see what book you can get a sneak peak of.

For this contest, it will be two parts for two different winners.  The first winner will get whatever social media shout out they want and will get to have their review of whatever book they want posted on here for the Monday Madness in 3 weeks.  The second winner gets a choice of one of the two.

So on to how to enter the contest.  To be entered into the contest, all you have to do is like this post and comment what you’re favorite book I’ve reviewed so far is and what is your favorite genre to read.  You can comment each day for another entry to try and win.  The contest will end at the end of the day next Monday, my time, and btw I live in the US.  At the end of the contest, I will put all the names into a hat or something and draw two different names out.  The winners will be announced when I post the Tuesday Teaser, so don’t forget to check back next Tuesday if you enter the contest.

Don’t forget to like and follow my blog if you enjoyed it!
